
Regalia Hotel Group (RHG) started was founded in 1996 to manage and operate serviced residences in Suzhou, China. It started of as a real estate developer that spearheaded the launching of the 1st North American Houses in Suzhou. Regent on the Park, its first property, has become the no. 1 choice of expatriate community in Suzhou.
In 2004, Regalia opened its first serviced residence in Shanghai. This is to pave a way for a better market positioning for serviced residence market. After a year of successful launching of Regalia Jing An, RHG opened 2 more serviced residences: Regalia Suzhou in 2006 and Regalia Changning In 2008. This has created a tremendous impact on brand building and Regalia's brand has became synonymous with quality serviced residences and excellent service.
In 2007, Regalia branched out and opened its first boutique resort hotel under the brand Regalia Resort & Spa. In just over a year it has garnered several awards locally and internationally as well. It is known to be the best Resort Spa in China. Regalia Resort & Spa was the 5th member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World in China. Its SPA is still the best known spa in Suzhou. Given the success of Regalia Resort & Spa – Suzhou, another Resort & Spa has been opened in Nanjing, Regalia Resort & Spa – Qinhuai River (Nanjing). RHG plans to open more resorts in other parts of China in the years to come.
